I live in the west coast of Scotland and I can honestly say that the weather this summer has been the worst summer in years. There hasn't been this must rain in a long time but I suppose its not good to have to many good summers as this will give the lochs and rivers a chance to refill.
Our water reservoirs are at a much better level now but could do with more water. If only we didn't have the dreaded midge the rain wouldn't bother us as much.
I am hoping and looking forward to a good winter. I prefer snow in winter to wind and rain.

Captains Log
Hi folks
This is my very first time using Blogger and I am finding it a little overwhelming at the moment as it is so new to me but I'm sure this will quickly pass as I get used to it. It seems to be a great idea that will be beneficial to us all to get out views across.
I'm not sure what to write next as my mind is buzzing with what to put to down. I heard that the name for Blog first came about was from Star Trek. On the show the captain of the Enterprise would have a daily log called Captains Log and its just a shorting of that to B-log.
Not sure if its true but it sounds about right.
